While attending the Rotterdam School of Management studying for a MBScA, JanKees founded !Effective; a Dutch ICT Consulting and software company. After they launched the first online internet broker Alex in the Dutch market, he sold !Effective to Ordina. After being involved in several startups and as a coach to a lot of (sales) teams he acquired Inergy; a specialist in Business Intelligence. JanKees brings years of experience as an entrepreneur and in strategic selling and business development. JanKees participates in singlehanded, long distance transatlantic offshore sail races with his Open40. In 2009 he set a new transatlantic record sailing from Plymouth (UK) to Newport (RI) in only seventeen days. JanKees is happily married to GeertjeMarije with whom he has two sons (Floris & Wouter) and a daughter (Alou).

Kees Zegers (1969). After working as a creative director in the advertising industry, Zegers founded his first company in 1994. Over the last 15 years he was (co-) founder of more then 14 internet, media and software related companies such as: NU.nl (online publishing), Veritate (email marketing), Netdirect (online advertising), Mailmedia (listbroking), Tripolis (software) and AcceptEmail (online invoicing). Kees Zegers is active as a public speaker, business coach and investor.
